There’s no need to hide this gift box under a bushel! The three glass vase candles fit snuggly inside the premium box with perfectly positioned stripes!

THE BRIEF

To create a paper covered rigid gift box to present and protect 3 glass vase candles during transit to a leading high street retailer. The box base and lid were to feature a striking design of thin vertical red and white stripes that had to align when closed.      

BOXMART’S ROLE
Aligning fine stripes can be challenging so a shoulder, printed in a solid colour, often sits between the lid and the base. However on this occasion the client requested a shoulderless box, so we developed a semi-tooled solution.    

PRODUCTION DETAILS
To ensure the lines on the lid and base registered, after the board was machine cut, the printed paper was applied by hand to each base and lid. And the clever combination of hand process and machine tools kept costs to a minimum.  

RESULTS
The gift boxes looked extremely attractive and luxurious on shelf, there were no reports of any damaged gift sets and best of all they sold out in no time!
