LUSH Pyramid Bath Oil Gift Set
The Brief –
Global cosmetics brand LUSH tasked BoxMart with creating a vibrant, premium gift box and display stand to showcase its range of luxury bath oils, which was to be delivered in time for the Christmas season.
Known for its inventive, highly creative bath products, the LUSH range of Christmas gifts are hotly anticipated each year. It was therefore vital to create a striking, aesthetically outstanding pack that would meet consumer expectations, deliver a memorable opening experience and protect and showcase the products inside.
BoxMart’s Role -
BoxMart created a design for the intricate half-pyramid shape required by the client, with a lift-off lid secured with locking tabs. Once open the pack revealed a multi-tier display stand, suitable for both retail POS and for display in customers’ bathrooms.
Throughout the process BoxMart worked closely with the client to turn their vision into a workable packaging solution. The teams collaborated to ensure that all complex elements of the design, including construction, materials and print came together seamlessly to deliver the high-end finish and opening experience required.
Production details – LUSH is known for its strong ethical standpoint on environmental and sustainability matters, so this was a key factor when selecting materials.
The final pack was high octane and brightly coloured, featuring polygons of different sizes in a variety of hues. This was achieved using a six-colour litho print on the outside lid portion, with a high gloss emulsion delivering a luxurious feel and communicating the high-end nature of the product, while tapping into the fun-filled spirit of the LUSH Christmas campaign.
Results – The Pyramid Gift Set was a huge hit with customers around the world. Its removable lid proved popular on many of the company’s stores’ social media feeds, with videos showcasing product demonstrators revealing the tiers of product inside featuring heavily across platforms during the Christmas period. The complex, highly-coloured artwork reflected the product’s tagline ‘a melting pot of colour’ and, in tandem with its stand-out pyramid shape, saw it intrigue and delight consumers.
