UK Packaging Awards 2022 - Winner of Corrugated Pack of the Year

BoxMart are delighted to have won the coveted Corrugated Pack of the Year Award at the 2022 UK Packaging Awards!

White Peak Distillery is Derbyshire’s first full-scale craft distillery, making award winning whisky, gin and rum, with a proud Derbyshire provenance. Opening in 2016, their signature product, Wire Works, is a small batch single malt English whisky, released periodically throughout the year.

Working in collaboration with the client we created a stand-out gift and postal pack pack heavily influenced by the brand’s story. 

We developed a  made-to-measure postal wrap featuring locking tabs, end voids for protection, limited raw edges and a large print surface - giving a refined yet functional first impression.

A zig-zag presentation pack sits inside the postal box, which protects contents and provides further brand enhancement.

The geometric, angular elements of the zigzag fitting forms the shape of a W – the initial of both the distillery and of Wire Works, while also mirroring the architectural features of a nearby bridge over the river Derwent, and the beams found on the premises.

UK made & fully recyclable, this eco-friendly pack has used traditional materials used in an innovative and creative way. Great design, coupled with a fantastic opening experience has helped  cement the brand’s position in a competitive market – successfully setting it apart from traditional brands, while holding firm to values of heritage, quality and provenance.
