TRICK OR TREAT: BOXMART DELIVERS HAUNTING GRAND DESIGN FOR MARSTON’S
Bespoke packaging supplier, BoxMart, has cast a spell at Marston’s headquarters in Wolverhampton to celebrate Hobgoblin, the unofficial beer of Halloween.
BoxMart has created a unique 7ft tall advent-calendar style haunted house with windows for key industry contacts visiting the company to open, through a variety of competitions and events during the month of October.
Marston’s tasked BoxMart with developing the bewitching design based on the spooky beer brand's imagery of its Hobgoblin Inn. Treats and surprises lurk behind each window and door of the house for lucky visitors to win, including t-shirts, bottles of Hobgoblin and even a mini-keg.
Jo Offord, Managing Director, BoxMart, said: “This has been one of those projects which really set our creative juices flowing. The resulting design is frighteningly good and resonates superbly with the Hobgoblin brand and Marston’s eerily gothic vision.”
Manufactured from corrugated EB flute for versatility and robustness, the house perfectly matches details of the original Hobgoblin Inn, from the windows and pillars right through to the intricate railings and balcony. The internal structure incorporates reinforced shelves to support the prizes hidden within.
Marston’s has been running pubs and brewing quality beers since the mid-1800s. The company is now one of the country's top pub businesses with venues across the UK and has cultivated an impressive brewing portfolio of cask, keg, bottled and canned beers.
Hobgoblin is a range of quality ales brewed by Marston's owned Wychwood Brewery, including an IPA, Hobgoblin Gold and the original traditionally crafted ruby beer, Hobgoblin.
