An ingenious ‘tuck top’ design ensured one generic box design could hold products of varying heights without the need for additional packaging!  

The Brief

To create one generic gift box that could be used to create three Christmas gift packs featuring products of differing sizes.  

BoxMart’s Role

We created a flat-packed gift box that could be easily shipped overseas. A die-cut film window ensured the products were visible yet protected from dust and moisture associated with a salon environment.  

Production Details

We created a ‘tuck top’ where the side flaps, traditionally found flat beneath the lid, are pre-folded and bent depending on the product’s height to offer a bespoke buffer zone. This kept the products in position without the need of additional packaging.  

Results

The client was impressed with the ingenious folding lid concept that ensured the boxes were cost-effective yet remained stylish and appealing.
